...Silurian reef deposits are exposed in Quarry Lake Park, Racine, Wisconsin. These rocks consist mainly of inclined flank beds and small areas of reef core. Reef sizes cannot be precisely determined but were probably on the order of hundreds of meters in breadth. This site was once known as Horlick Quarry....
